This short story is set in the West End of London around Piccadilly and this time I illustrated the eBook with a cut-out of a map of this area.<\/p>\n<p>bookleteer eBooks are made by folding\u00a0 and cutting sheets of A4 paper and slotting these together to make the final A6 size eBook (see <a href=\"http:\/\/vimeo.com\/11296538\" target=\"_blank\">here for a detailed video of how this is done<\/a>). One sheet of A4 paper makes 4 eBook pages. Once I had cut out the map I cut the A4 sheet vertically down the centre (you would cut the sheet differently for different designs of eBook) and inserted it amongst the A4 translucent sheets onto which I&#8217;d printed the text.<\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"attachment wp-att-502\" href=\"http:\/\/bookleteer.com\/blog\/2010\/05\/cut-out\/dusk_cutout_decon2-2\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-502\" title=\"dusk_cutout_decon2\" src=\"http:\/\/bookleteer.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/05\/dusk_cutout_decon21-198x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"198\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/bookleteer.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/05\/dusk_cutout_decon21-198x300.jpg 198w, https:\/\/bookleteer.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/05\/dusk_cutout_decon21-330x500.jpg 330w, https:\/\/bookleteer.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/05\/dusk_cutout_decon21.jpg 396w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 198px) 100vw, 198px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><em>Dusk cut-out eBook deconstructed<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Because the map was only printed on one side of the A4 sheet the flip side of the cut-out pages is blank.
