{"id":6008,"date":"2012-07-06T13:09:56","date_gmt":"2012-07-06T12:09:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/bookleteer.com\/blog\/?p=6008"},"modified":"2016-09-08T17:16:23","modified_gmt":"2016-09-08T16:16:23","slug":"soho-food-feast-we-are-all-food-critics-the-reviews","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bookleteer.net\/blog\/2012\/07\/soho-food-feast-we-are-all-food-critics-the-reviews\/","title":{"rendered":"Soho Food Feast: We Are All Food Critics \u2013 The Reviews"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In May, Proboscis supported the children of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sohoparish.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\">Soho Parish Primary School<\/a> at this year\u2019s <a href=\"http:\/\/sohofoodfeast.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\">Soho Food Feast<\/a> \u2013 a community fundraising event held for the school at which many of London\u2019s celebrated chefs and restaurants provided signature dishes to raise money.<\/p>\n<p>We designed a special eNotebook alongside <a href=\"http:\/\/www.standard.co.uk\/biography\/fay-maschler\" target=\"_blank\">Fay Maschler<\/a>, Restaurant Critic of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.standard.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\">London Evening Standard<\/a>, encouraging the children to become food critics and experience the food through all of the five senses. After the event we scanned their reviews and made a sample selection to be published in a compilation eBook (using our <a href=\"http:\/\/bookleteer.com\/blog\/ppod\/\" target=\"_blank\">Short Run Printing Service<\/a>) which has forewords from both Rachel Earnshaw (Head Teacher) and Fay.
